This tour is specially designed to get to know Colombia by visiting its main cities and experiencing different cultures in the same country.
Program validity: January 16 to December 15, 2026.
10 Days / 9 Nights
DAY 1 - ORIGIN / BOGOTA
Arrival in Bogotá, the multicultural capital of Colombia. Airport assistance and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 - BOGOTA (City tour with Monserrate)
Breakfast. At the agreed-upon time, we will begin a tour of Bogotá's historic center, starting with a walking tour of Plaza de Bolívar and the surrounding streets. Along the way, you will see buildings such as the National Capitol, the center of the country's legislative life; the Casa de los Comuneros; the Casa de Nariño, the seat of the Presidency of the Republic; and the Santa Clara Church Museum. You will then visit the Gold Museum, which houses some 34,000 gold artifacts from various pre-Hispanic cultures. The route continues at 2,600 meters above sea level, ascending to 3,152 meters to the sanctuary where the image of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate is venerated. From there, you will enjoy the best panoramic view of Bogotá. Overnight stay.
Includes: Transportation, guide, entrance fees to the Gold Museum and Botero Museum, cable car or funicular ticket (subject to Monserrate's operating hours).
Operating: Monday to Saturday. Sunday tours are available by request only, as visiting the Monserrate Sanctuary is logistically challenging due to the large number of pilgrims who attend on Sundays.
Duration: Approximately 6 hours.
Start Time: 8:00 AM
Notes:
• The Gold Museum is closed on Mondays; therefore, the Botero Museum and the Casa de la Moneda Museum will be visited instead.
• The Casa de la Moneda Museum is closed on Tuesdays.
DAY 3 - BOGOTA (Visit to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá)
After breakfast, at the agreed-upon time, we will begin a tour across the Bogotá savanna to the city of Zipaquirá, whose name means "city of our Father" in the Chibcha language. In pre-Columbian times, saline springs in this region were exploited to produce "salt loaves," a form of currency used by the Muisca people for trade. Over time, technology changed, and mines were opened to extract larger quantities of salt. In these ancient underground galleries stands the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, 180 meters below the surface. There, you will find a small chapel built by the miners in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá (this word means "mine" in Chibcha). At the end of the tour, we will return to Bogotá. Overnight stay.
Includes: Transportation, guide, entrance to the Salt Cathedral.
Operation: Daily.
Duration: Approximately 4 hours.
Start Time: 8:00 AM
Notes: This tour is not recommended for senior citizens or people with mobility restrictions.

DAY 6 - MEDELLÍN (Peñol and Guatapé Reservoirs Tour)
Breakfast. At the agreed-upon time, we will begin our tour towards the eastern part of the department. During the tour, we will pass through the town of Marinilla, followed by the municipality of El Peñol, which holds a special place in its history due to the deliberate flooding in 1970 to construct the hydroelectric complex. Today, it is a reservoir of vital energy importance to Colombia, famous for its boardwalk with attractive green areas. We will also visit the replica of Old Peñol, which recreates the most emblematic sites before its flooding. Later, we will arrive at "La Piedra del Peñol," a 220-meter-high monolith with 740 steps leading to its summit. We conclude our day's itinerary by visiting the beautiful municipality of Guatapé, one of the most colorful towns in Antioquia: known as "the town of the zócalos" (decorated baseboards). Here, you can appreciate the 20th-century facades of the colorful houses, adorned with zócalos as a symbol of the customs and trades of its inhabitants.
