1° Giorno - Arrivo a Pechino
Arrivo a Pechino, capitale della Repubblica Popolare Cinese, accoglienza e trasferimento in hotel. Sistemazione in camera e resto della giornata a disposizione. Antica capitale imperiale nota come Cambaluc ai tempi di Marco Polo, Pechino è una delle città più grandi e popolose del mondo, ricchissima di monumenti storici. Tra i suoi capolavori si annoverano la Città Proibita, il Palazzo d’Estate, il Tempio del Cielo e la Grande Muraglia, tutti siti Patrimonio dell’Umanità UNESCO.
Pernottamento a Pechino
2° Giorno - Pechino
Dopo la prima colazione, inizio delle visite della città con la storica e gloriosa Piazza Tian An Men, costruita nel 1417, il cui nome richiama la “porta della pace celeste” posta sul lato settentrionale: cuore e simbolo della città, è soprattutto celebre per aver fatto da cornice alla proclamazione della Repubblica Popolare Cinese da parte di Mao Tze Tung il primo ottobre 1949 e per essere stata teatro di importanti e sanguinose proteste. A seguire il Palazzo Imperiale, dimora degli Imperatori delle dinastie Ming e Qing, il più vasto al mondo con i suoi 720.000 metri quadri e i 980 edifici. Situato al centro dell’antica città fortificata di Pechino, meglio noto come Città Proibita a causa del divieto di accesso senza un esplicito permesso, è un capolavoro dell’architettura classica caratterizzato da torri crestate, la parte più visibile del palazzo dall’esterno, porte decorate con chiodi d’oro, mura spesse progettate per resistere ai colpi di cannone, grandi corti, giardini. Nel pomeriggio, dopo il pranzo in ristorante locale selezionato, visita del poetico Palazzo d’Estate, “il giardino dell’armonia educata”, splendida residenza estiva degli Imperatori situata a una decina di chilometri a nord-est della città.
Cena di benvenuto all’eccellente Beijing Roast Duck Restaurant.
3° Giorno - Pechino
Prima colazione e visita della Grande Muraglia, nella sezione di Badaling o Juyongguan, imponente opera difensiva lunga oltre 6.000 km. Pranzo in ristorante locale. Nel pomeriggio rientro in città e visita del Tempio del Cielo, magnifico complesso cerimoniale dai caratteristici tetti blu.
Pernottamento a Pechino
4° Giorno - Xi'an
Prima colazione e trasferimento alla stazione ferroviaria per il treno ad alta velocità diretto a Xi’an (seconda classe; prima classe con supplemento). Capitale dello Shaanxi e una delle quattro antiche capitali cinesi, Xi’an vanta un passato glorioso legato a numerose dinastie. Arrivo, trasferimento in hotel e tempo libero.

5° Giorno - Xi'an
Prima colazione e visita del grandioso Esercito di Terracotta, corredo funebre dell’Imperatore Qin Shi Huang defunto nel 210 a.C. rinvenuto casualmente da un contadino nel 1974 durante lo scavo di un pozzo: composto da un notevole numero di statue raffiguranti circa 18 carri, 100 cavalli e 8000 guerrieri dell’esercito imperiale alti oltre 1 metro e ottanta, realistici e ognuno diverso dall’altro, offre dal vivo uno spettacolo stupefacente. Dal 1987 è patrimonio dell’Umanità ed è uno dei più vasti siti archeologici mondiali. Più tardi sosta alla fabbrica di terrecotte seguita dal pranzo in ristorante locale. Nel pomeriggio visita della Pagoda della Piccola Oca Selvatica, omaggio all’Imperatore Tang Gaozong e simbolo della città, eretta nel 709 per volontà del monaco buddhista Dai An per poter conservare testi sacri buddhisti al suo interno. Successivamente sosta alla Grande Moschea che, risalente al 742, si attesta la più antica del paese, e al popoloso e vivace quartiere musulmano, labirinto di vicoli, bancarelle, lanterne variopinte e botteghe dall’aroma di spezie. Cena a base di tradizionali ravioli cinesi in ristorante locale: non si può lasciare Xi’an senza averli provati!
6° Giorno - Xi'an - Lhasa
Prima colazione, trasferimento in aeroporto e volo per Lhasa, “terra degli Dei”, capitale della Regione Autonoma del Tibet, centro delle attività politiche, economiche, culturali e religiose del paese.
Trasferimento dall’aeroporto all’hotel e tempo a disposizione per l’acclimatamento all’altitudine.
7° Giorno -Lhasa
Prima colazione e visita del Palazzo Potala, ex residenza invernale del Dalai Lama, vasto e maestoso labirinto di corridoi e ripide scale che conducono in innumerevoli camere riccamente decorate con statue, tombe, dipinti e oggetti d'antiquariato. Si sale oltre il Palazzo Bianco nel Palazzo Rosso, con l’esperienza indimenticabile delle lunghe file di pellegrini che offrono sciarpe di seta, monete o burro di yak da bruciare nei santuari. Nota: la visita richiede una buona forma fisica a causa delle scalinate. Dopo il pranzo in ristorante locale, visita del Monastero di Sera, uno dei tre più grandi del Tibet dove hanno luogo i famosi "dibattiti quotidiani" dei monaci.
8º Giorno - Lhasa
Prima colazione e visita del tempio di Jokhang, più piccolo del Potala ma non meno affascinante: affollato di visitatori, abitanti e pellegrini che vengono qui a pregare, questo edificio a 4 piani è centro spirituale del Tibet e meta sacra per i buddhisti. Dall’alto si gode di una magnifica vista su Barkhor Street e sui tetti d'oro circostanti superbamente decorati con figure di animali e campane, mentre all’interno, nella sala centrale, si trova l'oggetto più antico e più prezioso del Jokhang, una statua sacra a grandezza naturale in posizione seduta del Buddha Sakyamuni, portata in Tibet dalla principessa Wen Cheng nel 700 d.C. Ornata da molti gioielli e circondata da lampade alimentate da burro di yak, è oggetto di venerazione da secoli. Interessante osservare i pellegrini dalle colorate vesti tradizionali di ogni parte del Tibet che muovono in senso orario facendo girare le ruote di preghiera o che si affollano davanti al cancello principale, ed esperienza unica unirsi a loro nello shopping di prodotti locali sulle bancarelle o rilassarsi con una fragrante tazza di tè o caffè godendosi lo spettacolo.
Dopo il pranzo in ristorante locale, visita di Norbulingka, costruito come residenza estiva per il Dalai Lama e poi usato dall'amministrazione governativa.
9º Giorno - Lhasa - Shanghai
Prima colazione, trasferimento in aeroporto e volo per Shanghai, la ‘perla d’Oriente’, il maggiore polo economico della Cina ed una delle più moderne metropoli internazionali. Sistemazione in hotel all’arrivo.
10º Giorno - Shanghai
In mattinata, dopo la prima colazione, visita del Giardino del Mandarino Yu, capolavoro cinquecentesco in stile Ming che riproduce il tipico paesaggio del Sud del paese con laghetti, rocce e torrenti, e del bazar. A seguire, il tempio del Buddha di Giada, con la statua nel prezioso materiale di colore bianco proveniente dal Myanmar, e il Bund. Dopo il pranzo in ristorante locale, rientro in hotel e pomeriggio libero.
11º Giorno - Partenza da Shanghai
Prima colazione e trasferimento in aeroporto in tempo utile per il volo di rientro in Italia.

Travel Portal may deny access to Personal Data, or the rectification, cancellation, or objection to the processing of such data in the following cases:

Travel Portal is not obliged to cancel Personal Data when:

3. It hinders judicial or administrative actions related to tax obligations, the investigation and prosecution of crimes, or the enforcement of administrative sanctions.
